Yellowish skin colour?

My skin is sort of pale and yellowish, is it jaundice? I'm from a Mediterranean background, and have always had a sort of an english tan, I always thought the yellowish/green was that I had an olive skin tone. But recently, people seem to point out that I look like I have jaundice!?
