Brake light not working (see description)?

It's not the bulbs. You can do this and that, but ultimately you need to replace the four socket circuit board (the assy that holds the bulbs and the wires connect to). Junk yards are fine if nit watter-logged, dealer prob has for $40 or so. Two screws and a connector -done. Good Luck
