How long does it take for the yellow in a baby's eyes from jaundice to go away?

My daughter had jaundice and was in the hospital under billilights a week ago. Now, her skin doesn't look yellow at all anymore but her eyes still do. Her doctor told me it could take anywhere from a week to 3 months for it to go away! Just wondering, if your baby had jaundice how long did it take for their eyes to look white again?
