Judy Italian Classic Bedroom set?

We bought this set but don't understand where the headboard is suppose to go. according to the instructions (which is all picture, no words) it either slides onto the back panel (it has no way to slide on though) or just sits ontop of it which seems dangerous. I want to know if there's anyone else who is familiar with this set who may be able to help clarify where exactly it is suppose to go. Thanks!
