Will i get jaundice thru sofa?

my friend's wife had jaundice last september and lasted until december. now she is well and what i want to know is they are going to give away their sofa. obviously, the wife also uses that too. will i get jaundice if i get that sofa even i wash the cover of that sofa? thank you.
