I'm 18 and I'm really scared of being judged about ANYTHING. I hate it so much I don't go out because I'm scared of people seeing my face purely because of opinions in the past (manly, ugly and I get dirty looks etc), people compliment me but I analyse situations way too much and don't believe them. The negative always overrides the positive and I can't live like this it's ruining my chances of having a normal life.I've been to see a shrink, they say it's social anxiety etc and didn't help me much after that. Do you have experiences, advice etc? Anything would be helpful... Thanks

Why are my eyes yellow?

The whites on my both my eyes (on the side closest to my nose) has been yellow for about 3 years now. I have tested negative to Jaundice and have perfectly normal liver and kindney function. I was wondering if anyone could give me any information or advice about a specific topic? I am a military spouse and we travel a lot. Because of this, I have been looking online for degrees that can be done online at home. There are a couple of things that I came across that really interest me. I'm just a little unsure about them and was hoping that people would have some information. I am a woman and saw a few different degrees that interest me. One is a Bachelor in Leadership/Ministry for the Church. The other is basically a Bachelor in Christian Counseling. I am unsure if a Bachelor in Christian Counseling would actually allow you to become a Counselor at a Church or if you will need to further the degree to at least a Masters.I am also unsure if a Bachelor in Leadership/Ministy would be something that I could do as a woman. A lot of Churches have men in Leadership roles. I also hate the fact that this is necessary but my husband and I really need a second income and right now my husband is the only one working. He's allowing me to get a degree while he works. I love Church, I love God, I love helping others and allowing God to be the focus. I think that I would love either of these choices because of the above reasons but also because they are paying jobs. Does anyone have any advice or information that could answer some of these questions and clarify some of the things that I am unsure of? Also, what other paying jobs can women have within a Church, other than Child Care? I would really like a Bachelor Degree that would allow me to work at a Church but I'm a little lost on what I can do or be. I hate that a paycheck is something that I have to think about when involving God and the Church, but its just necessary for me to help support my husband and myself, plus one day, kids. This is something that I really want to do but I'm not sure exactly what I should be looking for or what I can do, especially as a woman. I am of a non-denominational faith. I realize that there are many women who work within Church, I just don't know what jobs I could have. I just know that I want the degree to come along with it. I have been diagnosed with extra-pulmonary tuberculosis (a week back), TB of lymph node, i am now on akt-4. Since then i kept vomiting two or three hours after my breakfast at least once in two days. After running a few more tests its confirmed that i have jaundice too (yesterday). So the TB specialist i am consulting has asked me stop taking akt-4 from today, till he asks to resume. He said he is not going for any TB medications till my liver returns to normal condition. I am little baffled, afraid because i have read that stopping the medication in the middle can be fatal as MTB may turn drug resistant. Please ensure me that my doctor is doing the right thing. If he is right am i in some kind of trouble? (Since i have tb + jaundice, yet i am not taking treatment for tb and further i have stopped tb treatment in the middle!!!)

Firstly,"THANK YOU" to all who have helped me so far!" When we took my cat to the Vet Hospital,it was discovered she had severe problems with her liver,pancreas,thyroid,kidneys at about 1/4 %, anemia,temperature was only 7 degrees,(normal is over 38.5 degrees) difficulty breatbing at all, & jaundice. There were other problems too,but these were the Big ones. The doctors did all that they could do for her in her condition, but she still did not show signs of recovery at all. Finally today,when we were paying her a visit,her breathing got even worse & I had to get her doctor. After examination & talking with my wife & I, the doctor suggested that it would be best For Her to "put her to sleep". (Execution I call it.) .... It was a heartbreaking time. I could not give the OK to do this,& my wife would not unless I agreed to it also. ... The best I could do was, to throw the decision back onto the doctor, & to say whatever is to be done is to be "a medical decision." ... I wanted to bring her home to die here, but the doctor said she would most likely not survive the trip & be put under added pain & stress. .... So, it took place in the back gardens of the vet hospital. I had her in my arms on my lap,while my wife gently stroked her & we both spoke softly to her. While we were doing this, her doctor injected her with that fatal dose of whatever it is.My little girl opened her eyes for a moment & looked straight at my wife,then she closed them. Less than a minute later, her doctor pronounced her to be dead. ... It was all over except for the paying of the bill,funeral (yet to happen) & the bawling of My eyes out. (yeah me crying. a man in my mid 50's, crying over the death of a little cat!) .... Well,that is what has happened. There is no turning back (unfortunately!) ... At the age of 12 years old i got sick and went to hospital emergency section. I was having liver pain and may be i was diagnosed with Jaundice. They gave me a injection and i recovered in a few days of rest. My father doesn't have any idea about Hepatitis B and he thinks everything is alright as doctor said not to worry. But i think i was diagnosed with hepatitis B. few days ago i went to another doctor and told him about my past and they did a liver blood test and took x-ray again said not to worry. Overheating issue with xbox 360?

Alright just to clarify I have the original xbox 360 not the slim. Anyways I've tried just about everything fixing this darn thing, I've had it since 07 and about 2 years ago I got the ring of death. Microsoft fixed it for me and replaced the old clamps. A little over a year ago I was having problems with overheating issues again. I've tried cleaning all the dust out of it, I've checked the power that's coming through and everything seems fine. Then I took the clamps off and the compound was completely deteriated, it was hard as plastic so I removed it with rubbing alcohol took about an hour or so then I replaced the compound with the proper amount. Worked fine for about an hour then it started again. Since last week I can only play my games about 15 to 30 minutes before it either freezes or gives me a entirely blue screen. I have an external hard drive connected that I have movies on and watch and I can only watch 1 before it freezes again. Usually it'll freeze right after I exit to the dashboard with movies but games will freeze before I can get 15 minutes of play. Depending on the game. Before I get complains on pirating I just want to ensure all these movies are rips of my own dvds that I prefer watching on the hard drive because it lasts longer than when they run on disc. Any suggestions? Looking for professional answers only, no towel tricks or amateur fixes that actually ruin the xbox rather than fixing the problem.

Not against it. I don't use a Strong's Concordance, but I would if I needed to. I use a Zondervan Bible I've had for years, which compares three different versions of the New Testament at once. For the Old Testament, I have a Zondervan Bible which compares the ancient Greek text with English, word for word, and it is truly enlightening what you can learn. I just had my baby a few days ago, i wanted to only breast feed, and he latched on pretty good, but due to his jaundice levels being a bit high, i had to supplement with formula to get that level down. Filling my prescription early due to vacation?

So I will be studying abroad from June 15th til August 31st and my doctor who knew this prescribed me 2 months worth of my adderall medication even though I just filled my previous prescription about a week ago. When I went to refill the script he wrote my insurance said they do not do vacation overrides and I could not refill for another few weeks. i had protected sex wit a girl i didn't really know about 8 weeks ago with a spermicidal condom. i was worried about herpes but my doctor said he did not think it was herpes because i had no symptoms but a slight burning in urination and a tingle inside my penis. he tested me for chlamydia and gonorrhea which were both negative. however he said my urine had a lot of protein in it and he tested my urine. my AST and ALT were off the chart my AST was 436 and my ALT was 206. they did an ultrasound on my kidneys and bladder and everything looked fine. he referred me to a nefralogist and he said i had an infection that passed through my urinary tract system which caused the pain and that my levels were back to normal though there urine test did not detect all that labcorps did the first time. this was all about 6 weeks ago. however last week i got a IGM/IGG test for herpes and the igm was postive and the igg was negative and he diagnosed me with herpes saying it was a recent infection which i was devastated by because i used a condom and it was only one encounter. i have no sores are any symptoms besides maybe a slight itch down there and this slightly red skin on my outside thigh which i don't know if its always been there or not because i take hot showers and scratch my legs a lot but you can barely see it. that was last week Friday( week7) this morning i threw up bile feeling very nauseous and my urine is a really dark yellow. i have no appetite at all though im hungry and i have slight abdominal pain on the left side of my stomach. my question is that my symptoms don't sound like herpes at all but hepatitis. i don't have jaundice though. so can IGM pick up a hepatitis infection too? or just a herpes infection. are the igm antibodies specific to each viral disease or the same based on symptoms? should i just assume i have herpes even through the symptoms don't match up? i haven't been tested for any of the hepatitis viruses yet but im going back to the doctors tomorrow to ask him if it could be a misdiagnosis or if i really do have herpes.

So I took my 4 week old in for his month check up,and his pediatrician said he was still jaundice..which i couldn't even tell..a lil in his eyes,but I know that's the last place it leaves.he said in breast fed babies it's usually gone by 4 weeks..so he had to get his biliruben tested,then put on formula for 48 hours,then tested again.he said if his numbers didn't go down drastically,then he might have a liver problem. I called today to find out the results,and he wasn't in, but a nurse said that his first biliruben was at and 11 something,and after the 48 hours on formula it was down to 9 something. Not sure if that's a drastic amout? Cuz on the 1st he had been tested and he was at 17.9 I believe,but he was peeing and pooping really good,so they didn't put him under a light.then on the 4th he was tested and it was at a 15 something. So 3 1/2 weeks later it goes down 4 points,but after the formula it went down 2 points in 2 days..so is that good? I dunno,I'm just worried! Don't want my lil man to have a liver problem!! What the hell is copyright?

It is understandable that copyright can protect people's descriptions of their idea whether on paper or anything else. But how does it specifically protect it? For example, someone learned grammar, vocabulary etc. and how to form neat sentences from books. The books have copyright, and eventually this person that learned from that book might somewhere use a very similar expression, forming of sentence or even word to word to another idea. Where does copyright lie here? Can't someone read a novel and memorise a lot of sentences and use them time to time because they eventually become "his" words? Prickly tonsil has me worried?

My right tonsil just started bothering me. My allergies have been really bad for the last week and I'm hoping it's just being caused by that but I fear I may be getting tonsillitis again. Do I need ACT/SAT scores to get into BYU nursing school as a transfer student?

I transferred to BYU last semester from a community college. I transferred with 43 credits and a GPA of 3.9. I now have a 3.78 GPA after winter semester (I earned a 3.5 this last semester, which obviously lowered my cumulative GPA a bit.) When I applied to BYU, I was told that I did not need to submit my ACT/SAT scores because I'd earned enough college credit that those test scores were not an important indicator of my current academic performance. I recently decided that I'd like to apply to the nursing school, however there is one HUGE problem. It appears as though they want my ACT/SAT scores. I took the ACT when I was 16-years-old and scored a 23. I hated high school, never studied or wanted to work hard, so needless to say, I didn't. I am now 21-years-old and I am a VERY dedicated student and am deeply saddened by the fact that a test I took five years ago will most likely ruin any chance I have to get accepted into the program of my dreams! Is there anyway that this part of my application could be overridden? I would do anything to get accepted into this program. How do i "stimulate my babys bone marrow into producing more iron"?

I dont know if many people will be able to help with this but my 7 week old baby was born with hereditary spherocytosis (a spleen disorder affecting red blood cells causing anaemia and jaundice). He has got it from his father who has it all through his mums side of the family. He has been admitted to the hospital twice now as his haemoglobin dropped dangerously low making him very anaemic and lifeless basically. How can I get ahead with pumping my milk?

Our baby is now 16 days old and has had a LOT of trouble breast feeding. He was born tongue tied and could not latch properly so I had to start pumping and bottle feeding because his jaundice levels were increasing and he needed to eat. We finally had our pediatrician see him and clip under his tongue which was supposed to allow him to latch properly. However he still can't seem to do it. Ive been going back to the breast feeding clinic at the hospital every 2-3 days to work with him on it, however I bought a medela breast pump and have been pumping and bottle feeding as well. How can I get ahead with pumping? It seems like I can't get ahead I'm only able just to have one to two bottles ready for him where as people are telling me to freeze all the extra milk. I don't have all this extra milk? Should I start pumping more so that I can increase the ammount of milk I have? Also now that he is 16 days old do you think my chances of getting him to breast feed are ruined? He will ONLY do it if I wear a nipple shield, if I offer him a bare nipple.... Forget it. I'm happy that he's at least getting all breast milk, but I would love the bond of breast feeing too . Any tips?

I'm really sorry your having so much trouble and unfortunately I don't have an helpful answer as you are doing everything the nurses are telling you and going to all the right classes but I do want to say a massive WELL DONE for continuing to try and even attempting to breast feed as so many people don't. I luckily didn't have the problems you said but still found it tremendously hard (nobody tells you how hard and tiring it is). But I wouldn't have changed it for the world and like you said the bond you get is amazing and it is so rewarding. But if there comes a point when you do find you can't continue do not feel bad, just remember you tried your best and gave your baby the best start. The only advice I have is I was told when I was breastfeeding not to worry about your milk drying up, it will keep coming as long as you keep feeding baby or using a pump. Good luck

time... I have had similar things happen to me and the 1 negative comment is enough to put u in a funk. Just focus on the positive. Take time to do things that you like that make u feel pretty (i love to paint my nails and I tend to do that when I need a pick me up). Windows 7 dual boot problem?

I have a computer that I run with windows 7 and it works fine, until now. I attempted to make a dual boot with windows xp so that I could play an old computer game and now the computer won't work at all. Now at startup I just get a black screen with a blinking cursor, and before that I had all kinds of problems. This game is definitely not worth it. Any way I attempted to install xp on a partition I created on my main hard drive and I read that windows 7 won't boot up because xp overrides the MBR or something like that. So is there a way to erase the partition with xp on it so that I can go back to just having windows 7 again? Remember I can't get into the OS as of now so it will have to be done through the bios or some type of bootable disc. Please help

My son is a week and half old and only wakes once a night, is this normal?

I nurse him, and he eats about every 2-3 hrs during the day. Sometimes I need to wake him, and other times he is hungry all day long. In the hospital he wouldnt eat so he got jaundiced, so we were giving him formula and nursing. The jaundice is gone, he has at least 6-8 wet diapers a day and poops at least 3 or 4 times a day, and his poop is mustardy and seedy like they say it should be. He was almost back up to his birth-weight at his check up the day after we came home. Is it ok that he only wakes once a night to eat? He usually sleeps from 11-3 and then 4-7, although last night he slept from 11-430 and then slept from 530-830. Should I be waking him more, or just consider myself lucky? Everyone is telling me that he will let me know when he is hungry and to just let him sleep. Has anyone else experienced this? It isnt effecting my milk either. (sidenote) we do still give him 2 oz of formula at bedtime...this may be why he is held over longer. (please no lectures on nipple confusion)

I'm okay in my eating choices, but what really bothers me is my uncontrollable snacking! It's as if food is my drug. I feel as if I am borderline with my weight and want to take more control by avoiding snacking. When I am in my room and I get an idea for the ice cream cone in the freezer it almost engulfs me. I even tell myself I can do without it and I don't need it, it's just a mess of empty calories but it is as of my brain overrides these thoughts and I always end up walking to the kitchen to get it. I live wi my dad and sister so I can't dictate what my dad buys because if he feels like he wants an ice cream when grocery shopping, then he'll buy some for the house. My problem is self control. It is overwhelming. And there are alternatives for me that are healthy, but when I want ice cream, there is no chance I'll be satisfied with substituting that for carrots. It's about taste, not hunger with snacks. Has anyone had/has this problem? I need tips for this because it almost makes me feel ashamed that I have no control. Anyone know what I'm going through and got over this?

During the stay at the hospital they do tests on your baby to check for jaundice. They would let you know if your baby has it. My son is 3 weeks old & he has mild jaundice. Their skin is yellow and they kinda look like a pumpkin (because of the color) it starts head first then down. If you look at baby's eyes in the light you will notice yellow where their whites are.

Nope. Just because they won't give you their info, does not make you an independent student. I went through the same exact thing with my fiance. His mom would not give her info and he was not over 23 at the time so he could not get financial aid. Good running shoes for Haglund's Deformity?

I can't tell you exactly when it started appear, but i have developed the world famous bump near my heal/achilles. Trust me, i know it is Haglund's deformity. First off: I would like someone to clarify that this scenario makes sense: I believe that my Haglund's bump has caused my foot to land on the outside during runs, which therefore caused severe pain on the outside/bottom of my foot close to the heal. The pain is gone, however, my right foot (the effected foot) still tends to land on the outside. Of course i do not want to have to go through the pain again, so is there a running shoe that is good for haglund's bump, which would therefore cause my right foot to land normally again? Thanks

The manual I'm looking for is about L.I.N.E (Linear Infighting Neural Override) Combatives. It was created in 1977 for the USMC, so a manual around that time, or until about 1991 when another fighting system took its place should work. Jaundice is a symptom, not a disease, so without knowing more facts it is impossible to answer. Jaundice can be caused by many different types of diseases or ailments. Maybe someone else in your family can answer this for you if they have spoken with his doctor. I hope he gets better

E3 11 A Disappointment?

Who else agrees that E3 was a complete Failure lol the most important thing was GTA5 not being announced and second the new Nintendo wasn't a new console it is basically just an accessory for the Wii the only thing I liked about E3 was the Need For Speed and The Elder Scrolls Skyrim demo, MW3 and Battlefield 3 and a few other games that looked ok but nothing amazing but none of that overrides the fact that GTA 5 WAS NOT ANNOUNCED lol

This weekend, a laptop went on sale as a one-time event for $278. This laptop had 2 GB of memory and a 320 GB hard drive. A customer came in wanting to purchase the $278 laptop but we were sold out of it. The customer wanted me to substitute a similar laptop, which had higher memory of 4 GB and a larger hard drive of 500 GB and a faster processor. This laptop had a price of $398. Was the customer entitled to a price override for the "better" laptop for $278 because we were sold out of the actual laptop in the ad? I explained to the customer that I cannot drop a price of a laptop that is NOT part of the sales ad and then the manager said he couldn't override the price either. I understand that game design is very vague so let me clarify, I want a computer that is good for gaming, high processing power, it CAN NOT have an integrated video, it MUST have an expansion slot for a video card (PCI for example) and a good video card. I want at least 2 GB of Ram at the bare minimum, 4 is better, 6+ is best, 8 is ideal. Dual or quad core processors, not some celeron processor with no cache. The programs I will be using the most are, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Maya, and zBrush, along with that I'll probably be doing some coding and scripting also. I don't think I really need to mention any of the other things I'll be using it for, cause if it can do all this, it probably can do anything else, and just to be safe let's raise the cost to anything under $2000, I hope this helps you help me.

My newborn is sleeping too much?

I have a week old baby boy. When I got discharged on friday he had to say 6 more hrs bcuz he had jaundice. So during the weekend I was really worried bcuz I noticed he looked really yellow including his eyes. I took him to the dr on monday and the dr told me to take him to get blood work done bcuz he did look yellow. So I took him and sure enough his jaundice level was at a 19 =( so they admitted him to the hospital and they said he had to stay 2 days. So it today they said it went down to a 14 and they discharged him. In the hospital he kept me up all night for those 2 days and he was constantly eating and pooping and peeing. Well today at home he has slept all day. I've had to wake him up to eat and when I do he doesn't eat as much as he usually does(breastfeeding). He hasn't really pooped since very early in the morning. He has peed though. Should I be concerned that he is sleeping so much? And that he hasn't pooped today? Has this ever happened to anyone with their baby just wanting to sleep? Or not poop?

I accidentally wiped my Sims 3 account. How do I recover it?

I've been playing sims3 for a while and invest alot of time in it, but just today I was saving my progress, and accidentally turned the PS3 off while it was in the process of saving. I've been saving all my progress to the same file, so it overrides and saves each time. I thought it just wasnt going to save my latest progress, but in fact it has wiped the entire saved slot.
