Christianity? Will it last through the ages?

It is possible that it will cease to exist or be supplanted by another faith . . . the problem is, Christianity seems tailor made to resist proof, evidence, societal change, etc. The doctrine of the religion paints all of these things as "persecution by the enemy, spiritual deception, etc." If someone asks objective questions, the doctrine has Christians discredit that person's motives or character, or ties them to some sort of evil influence. Because of this, no matter what happens, it seems as though Christians are always able to interpret every event that occurs through their doctrine, making it hard to use reason to argue (to them, reason or facts do not matter . . . they are evil lies from the devil, sent to trick those who refuse to believe).
