How to tell my mom I got academically dismissed?

So I just checked my grades and it says I am academically dismissed because even though my cumulative gpa is above 2.0 my term gpa is below a 1.0 so I am academically dismissed. There is a form you can fill out to appeal and therefore possibly override it. The deadline is sometine in June. How do I tell my mom the bad news? She's gonna get so pissed at me and I don't wanna get in trouble. FML.
