Prickly tonsil has me worried?

My right tonsil just started bothering me. My allergies have been really bad for the last week and I'm hoping it's just being caused by that but I fear I may be getting tonsillitis again. I had it about 3 weeks ago and I finished off all the amoxicillin in 10 days as prescribed. I was fine until last weekend when my allergies started acting up. Now when I swallow, I don't get a sore feeling, but a very slight scratchy feeling on my right tonsil. I'm super worried because I'm going on a vacation with family in 4 days. Could anyone clarify if it's just allergies?
