TB on lymph-node + jaundice....?

I have been diagnosed with extra-pulmonary tuberculosis (a week back), TB of lymph node, i am now on akt-4. Since then i kept vomiting two or three hours after my breakfast at least once in two days. After running a few more tests its confirmed that i have jaundice too (yesterday). So the TB specialist i am consulting has asked me stop taking akt-4 from today, till he asks to resume. He said he is not going for any TB medications till my liver returns to normal condition. I am little baffled, afraid because i have read that stopping the medication in the middle can be fatal as MTB may turn drug resistant. Please ensure me that my doctor is doing the right thing. If he is right am i in some kind of trouble? (Since i have tb + jaundice, yet i am not taking treatment for tb and further i have stopped tb treatment in the middle!!!)
